Clarification of feet and inches re comp

Sep 19, 2005 8 Replies

This is NOT sq ft...

lay four squares in a line...you have two foot (2ft) forget the depth or width, just the length of all these squares..

12inches = 1ft (3ft = 1yard)

each person who signed up every month should have received 2 squares per month and thus for every month he or she signed up would or should have received 1ft of squares every month..So if you have signed up every month since time began then you will have or should have 23ft, now remember that the first year I didn't do December or you would have had 24ft in length of squares...

SOoooooo work it out on how many people you think has received over the last

2years, regardless of how many times each individual has signed up..as there are only so many of us each month..and I haven't signed up every month and can't remember for the life of me how many times I have or haven't signed up..lol\ but if you think I've signed up eleven months in all, then that is
11ft along with your own 23 ft making a total of 34ft

It's gonna be guesswork anyway, so just give Nora any ole answer someone is bound to win. I will watch and wait for the results from Nora and when we know who was nearest TO the answer, I will post a prize to that person.

Remember if you think something like 68ft, has been made, and someone else says 70ft, but the answer is 69ft then the one who thinks 68ft will be the winner...even though 70ft is near it as well, but this answer will be classed as passed the number and 68ft will be the nearest TO it..

cheers....Cher

Okay. We'll base our estimates on Linear Feet. Marie and the cats

remember too that if you signed up say for only four months total in these two years, and sent 1ft or 12inches out and received 1ft or 12inches back(regardless if you did or didn't get more or less squares) then you will have received and sent 4ft so that is 5ft for a start..

have fun...we'll build a path to somewhere with all these squares I am sure..

OK back to the drawing board....

Sigh, from Els, who usually dumps in feet first, now to just make them linear.
