They're all close-ups except #3? The guy who took the pics has gone on vacation so I can't ask him, he said he took one close-up lol!
I went through your website some, in the beads section you wrote something about being unable to easily photograph some of the beads - have you tried scanning them? I want to do that with future small projects of my own, but I still need to properly hook my scanner to my Windows computer.
As i understand it, you can 'enlarge' a scanned image (like with other images too I assume).
I agree with Georgia about the good views. As for color, overall, the shrink looks grayish green, of a medium to light value. The colors in the variegation appear to be cream, blue green, and a dusty gray green.
Hi David. Now, I could access them .Thank you! I didn't know that kind of piece of clothing was called a shrink :-) I think the best ones are 1 and 4. Nr 3 is too far away. Colours are blue, white and grey. Good combination. What combination yarn hook did you use? I like it, specially the front. Hope it was useful :-) Take care! Sofia D

Thanks Hesira, it's great getting specific color feedback from different people - and I find it quite interesting how people describe the same color of whatever I'm working on in different ways! (I often crochet while I dialyze at a local dialysis unit, I get the same from there - different people "see" the same color(s) differently, that is they have different names or variations of names for the same colored yarn.)
When I work with any yarn, I just choose the hook which feels like it will do the job I want - so far I haven't paid attention to hook sizes or weights of yarn.
Yes, a 'shrink' is two granny squares (one for the front, one for the back) joined by straps at the shoulders and sides. This is only the third shrink I've ever made, the first two I made about 30 years ago when I was a kid. If I can find the label for the yarn I'll scan and post it here for you.
yes, I quite enjoyed crocheting it - I wanted to make slight variation so for the tenth of the eleven rounds of the granny squares instead of clusters of dc3, I did V-stitches - dc1 ch1 dc1. And then I added the sc trim all around.
Okay, thanks Dennis - I've put them up along with notes at

.
And to Sofia (I think) - tonight I searched for the yarn label so I could scan and post here, I couldn't find it - but I _know_ I've got two skeins of it, I only used part of one, I must have the other one somewhere in my stash lol!
No problem David. The only things I would like to know , the nr of the hook and the name or nr of the yarn. Oh, and I'll end up finding those somehow. Never mind. Have a great Sunday :-) Sofia D

I was thinking the same thing when I read Sofia's description of the colors. Color perception is a very personal thing, and 10 different people might have 10 different ideas of what "green" is.
I'll ask Ana about the hook size - I _think_ I know which one I used, I don't label my hooks with braille or at this point have them organized in any identifiable way. I'll also ask her to help me find the yarn label. :)
Hi David, I'm sorry you are going to all this trouble because of me. Today I bought a nr 6 hook but I think it isn't as thick as the one you used in your shrink. The next one I have is nr 12 and that one I'm sure is too big. I've got a lot of hooks starting from nr 0.25 and there's always a new one I need and don't have :-) Sofia D

No trouble Sofia, just more steps than if I could see lol! :) The hook says "5.0" on it, nothing else, I hope that's a help.
Send me your snail mail address off-list, I'll mail you a sample of the yarn. I haven't found the second skein yet, did find the first one but for some reason I hadn't kept the label.
