Digital Granny website?

I've been trying for some time now to visit a site I bookmarked a couple of months ago. It was called "Digital Granny's Virtual Afghan" and was located at

. I get an error message when I try to access the page. Has the site simply been moved? Is it down completely and forever? Does anyone know if there is a similar page out there for us crocheting granny square goons?

I have all this yarn I need to burn through before I buy more and I'm dying to do some of the granny squares I found on that site once.

It seems to be gone forever. Too bad. Here is one with a lot of squares.

That is really a shame. I loved that sight! I have used patterns from there when I was doing the 6x6. But on looking at the above links, I see that there are lots of other really nice patterns to choose from.

Maybe we should print out these freebies when they are listed and then save in a notebook. Many times I have gone back to a bookmarked link and find that the site is gone. Or maybe put on a disc if you can. If they are free, then I don't think there would be a problem.

I've always had my own email address, Katherine. In fact I have *four*... one just wouldn't do you know! LOL One is the gemtoneharmonygifts at yahoo dot ca, another is imawriter four u at hotmail dot com, another is gemsawriter at excite dot com, and the last one is my first two initials and my last name at yahoo dot ca. I just never could find how to use any of them to access the newsgroups while I was offline. I could read the newsgroups on google... although quite obviously not all entries, and not often enough to keep up. Norma was a HUGE help with me keeping in touch with all of you... Thank you Norma! :o)

Thanks to the people giving me directions to change the address for newsgroup postings, I just may not be getting as many spam emails as before at the xcelco address. At some point we may go back to using our old email address that we had before going offline... you know, the one that sounded like medicine... rumathol at xcelco dot on dot ca. I kind of miss that address, it was unique. ;o)

I have a bunch of addresses, too, Gem, but the one I use here is my most-used one.
