I think the "Love" cloth would be a nice choice for sending to hurricane victims. The site is also a good one to check out for anyone looking for relatively knitting simple patterns for 6x6 squares. Most of them would require a fine or lightweight yarn to 6 inch square.

I was thinking the same thing about the "Love" cloth, Jan! And yeah, aren't the other squares really neat? I so want to do a few of them up and maybe make an afghan from them. :o)

I suppose (when I can afford to) that it would be a bit corny and likely overdone to make an afghan using the shamrock square as a main square for my Irish doctor, or for my good friend who lives in Ireland. What do you think, Eimear... and any other Irish people on the newsgroup?
