I don't remember what month we were, but I received two very special squares from Els along with samples of the very cool fibers she used. Now I just need to get my lazy summer butt in gear and send her some back. :)

Tell your Grandmother that her squares will be in the mail soon. I have simplyfied the lace knitting and with the help of a crochet hook, thank you Tamar and Jan and everyone, for all your good pointers, it is coming along. I can see now that indeed when you start with yarn over for purling, and then purl 4 st together, when the last fails, you may also loose the yarn over, loosing a stitch. I am a good detective, but not such a hot knitter.....LOL
