Jamaica had a bobsled team at one time, but I don't know if they still do. The Disney movie "Cool Runnings" was based on this, though a little fictionalized.

I won't really miss Lewiscraft (although I always liked that store, and went there often when it was in the nearby city) because it hasn't been near enough to me for a few years now... and I rarely go to the bigger city where it is located. It is a shame though to see it going out of business. I felt bad too when White Rose went out of business... we shopped there quite a bit, and ALWAYS bought our Christmas tree from them each year. Such a shame when well established businesses close their doors. :o/

I've only made a little money, nowhere near what it cost in materials to make all the stuff I've made.

The storm was lovely, thank you. 60 cm of snow yesterday. The car was practically buried, and the drifts were 6 feet high in our driveway. Luckily we paid a snow plow man to do most of the driveway and didn't have to shovel more than an hour or so. More snow tomorrow :(

And they seemed to be holding their own against Michaels and Walmart, too. The staff in the two stores here seem to be in shock and hugely disappointed. They always showed such interest in their customer's projects, which doesn't happen at the bigger stores.

Yikes! 6 foot drifts... wait until I tell Matthew that one in the morning... he won't complain about the 3 foot drifts we often get anymore. LOL
