Hands-on arts tour to Oaxaca and Mexico City

Next July a fiber-artist colleague and I (a cultural anthropologist) are taking a group to Mexico that you might be interested in joining. We'll have three days in Mexico City and then ten days in Oaxaca. Although both places have their share of tourists, and even though we'll hit some of the famous places (the pyramids at Teotihuacán and Monte Albán, Frida Kahlo's house, etc.), much of it will be off the beaten path--an evening of lucha libre (Mexican wrestling with masked wrestlers) in D.F., salsa lessons in Oaxaca, etc. The highlight will be spending several days and nights in very small towns outside of Oaxaca city doing weaving and ceramic workshops. You can see details at our web site--lasartesdemexico.com.
