HeyHo, Jenn?

Jenn,

Have been wondering how you've made out with your problem and if you ever decided to go for the endometrial ablation.

How are you feeling?

Interesting that you should ask me that today...as I just woke up with nasty cramps and thinking about how we're leaving tomorrow to take the exchange student up to Niagara Falls. It's a 7 hour drive from Pennsylvania...guess we'll be making more "potty breaks" than we had planned. ;-) From this you can deduce that I haven't had the proceedure. It's more a matter of timing than anything else....okay, and a lot of procrastination.

Thank you for asking...you have a great memory.

Hello, Jenn,

I kinda had thought you hadn't gone for the procedure since you didn't mention it.

I will think of you taking that long drive, will pray for your safety ... and also send hopes and positive thoughts that the cramping and discomfort (and annoying need for breaks!) will subside.

PS - Ha! Actually, no, I've a terrible memory -- rivals that of my Ma's whose is impaired from age as well as from a brain tumor. !! Mine is so bad that I live by those wonderful little yellow stickies absolutely everywhere in my house, and I mark (like here on the board) things I want to remember and "follow" but know that my memory won't on its own. I've been saying for years that if/when I ever become senile or get Alzeimers, I'll have it down to a science and will deal with it exceptionally well 'cause I'm learning all the tricks to plug those holes and lapses now before the fact! LOL

Part of that problem we all seem to cope with more or less, is that we do way to much. Multi tasking is a dirty word and should be scrapped from our dictionaries. Slow down and try to work at one project at the time. (I know from expierience that this is not easy to do, since we are so in the habid to do 10 things at the same time)) Jenn I was going to suggest that you have warm milk with you, intake of calcium will help you with cramps as well as get some of those automatically warming pads that are available in drugstores now. You can hug yourself with these, around your tummy or sore back, it will make you much more comfortable. Gentle yoga stretches during pitstops on the way will help also. Have a great trip to the Falls Jenn, I am sure the kids will love it.
