I crocheted a little bowl. . .

out of wool yarn that I then ran through the washer on "hot" (so it would felt). I've really gotten into felting lately but have mostly had success with two dimensional items. The bag shrank (sp? getting so I can't spell in English any more!!!) about 30% and became more symetrical. This was good since it was a tiny bit "wonky" when I put it in the washer. Then I used some eyelash yarn in similar colours to make some "fringe" around the top of the bag. I did that after felting since the eyelash yarn is artificial and I was afraid it would be ruined by the hot water wash.

I've finally taken some pictures of my latest art quilt exhibit but haven't actually uploaded them from my camera to my hard-drive (let alone up to my website). I'll add a pic of my little bowl and post links to my web pages soon!!! (crosses fingers!) :-)

Erin who hopes that we can "drown-out" the troll if we just keep on posting about our yarns, crafts, etc!!!
