New picture

Hi all Follow the link to my new "Balloon Bag" made with yarn given away by a "destashing" knitting friend from one of my knitting groups. My granddaughter likes it, so she gets to keep it. It's not very big, so fits a 9 y/o girl very well. (smile)

Hi Shelah,

That is a really cute bag. I also enjoyed looking at all your other pictures. Very nice work.

Yes, the pattern is a freebie - it's a PDF. Here's the link:

can make this bag look very different depending on the yarn you use.I'm planning on adding stitches to the beginning base so I can make the bagbigger. It was a very easy knit, plus I love felting! Shelagh

Thank you (smile). I enjoy looking at them sometimes too, just to remind myself of some of my "better" projects. This afternoon I knitted up the start of a felted case for my glasses, but it looks awfully big. I guess I'll really have to leave in the washer and dryer for a while. I'll post that one too when it's done. I used more of that same yarn. ;>)
