Ot April 1st ,,,, don`t be fooled by anu body

We went to GB, a couple of years ago.

Everything said about driving in England is true - and then you must find parking. OTOH we did get to see much of the Cotswold that we would not have seen without the effort of driving. Note that my wife is normally an excellent navigator, but there was something about the "roundabouts" that confused her.

Best days of yarn shopping in GB were by bus and train.

Best yarn bought was in Wells. (Irish handspun) Best yarn deal was in York (Scottish "Aran") (Take an empty duffel bag or two, just in case : )

Ooooooh, Scotland...... I'll get there yet! There are a few places I want to see that relate to my ancestors. One that comes to mind is Knapdale Forest... I'd have to drag out the Family Tree I did a few years ago for my father's side to remember more names. The Scottish surname attached to us is MacIntaggart (sp?) and/or McTaggart(sp?). I'm just not sure of the spelling. A former knitting exchange pal of mine sent me some photos she took just for me on one of their Sunday excursions. It looks so beautiful around there, and she was sure to snap some sheep grazing too.

I'm also a huge Highlander (of the TV series) fan, and would love to visit Glenfinnan. ;>)
