OT: Early birthday wishes for Susan Carey

Happy birthday, Susan! As you surely know, you share the birthday with Mozart! Tomorrow here in Stockholm there will be a non-stop 13 hours concert of chamber music for Mozart's 250th "birthday" at Adolf Fredrik's church. I'm planning to go (one does not have to remain all the time)!

Thank you and hugs to all who wrote to wish me good tidings on my special day. And belated greetings to those others of us who celebrated this week.

I started my day taking DD's BF with me to pick her up from school an hour away. I got there and saw a group of students walking with her. She had arranged to have them all sing Happy Birthday to me. She apologized for not getting of the musical theatre kids as these were all actor students and not good singers - as if I cared.

She had darling gifts for me and had baked cupcakes and frosted them for me. She had called the night before to get the frosting recipe supposedly for her room mate. I was totally surprised.

Then last night DS called from NYC. He was in line for tickets for a play on Broadway called doubt. Sounds interesting. He leaves for home today, a bit less than he had hoped for from his audition for the universities, but happy, none the less.

So, again, to all, a very huge thank you for adding to my wonderful day with so much love and sweetness.
