I just came back (about an hour ago) from watching the parade for our town's fall fair. It was pleasant enough, as it usually is. However, in the parade this time around there were two school buses with a sign on the front of each of them reading "FILL THE BUS FOR HURRICANE KATRINA". The front bus was collecting donations of money, and the second bus was collecting bags of used clothing, etc to send along to the displaced people. I was very touched and proud that my town was doing such a nice thing, aside from the normal collection banks set up in the coffee shops, etc. Just wanted to share this with you. :o)
Peace! Gemini
