Hi Auntie! I just checked the pictures...and I was almost knocked out - figuratively of course. You make such a beautiful work. And that thing on the wall....Oh man oh man oh man! I could faint - and only because I envy your skills. Best: Pirjo

I love your afghans! They are so colorful and cheerfull. I think the counted cross stitch picture to really nice! That must have taken a long time and you should be very proud of your work.

Diane (enjoying the nice weather again, 70 degrees F. in November, who can complain!)

Hi! The person called "Seasidestitcher" is absolutely right and I agree with her completely. Auntie Nora, be proud of your work! If yours and mine would be in comparison or something like that...I'd be ashamed and I'd lose the game in one little blink. Best: Pirjo

Hi Nora, I really enjoyed seeing your afghans, and the cross stitch picture is amazing too. I always love to see what people have been working on.

And that's not even HALF of them yet, Katherine! ;o) They are really beautiful. I'm so glad Nora finally got a photo album up to show off her work. :o)

Oh Diane... I agree about the weather! It was very chilly when I put the dogs outside this morning, so I put on my "Newfoundland" sweatshirt that my Mom brought me when she "went home" in 1994 and my jeans. I even took my blanketcloth sweater/jacket with me in the van because the nearby city I was going to is right beside the water and if often much cooler there. WRONG!!! I was WAY overdressed... and wishing that I had at least just worn my long-sleeved t-shirt instead of this heavy sweatshirt. It was soooo nice and warm today, and the sun was shining all day in the clear sky, and the water was a gorgeous teal green/blue colour. A perfect day! :o)

Nora,

I'm glad you have a way to share your wonderful afghans with the group. Am I right that the one numbered 43 is the 43rd afghan so far in 2005 ? Amazing !!!

Hi Ladies,

Thank you for the lovely compliments. First the counted cross stitch was an Eva Rosentrand kit on Belgium linen and took a couple of years to do working on it off and on.

No, I'll have to put no. 43 on there tomorrow, along with a couple of others.

Hugs,

Nora

Sorry, Nora, I think I got the numbers mixed up - I was positive there was an afghan # 43 there, but maybe I mistook # 23 for it.

They are all gorgeous !

Nora I had a "peek" and was amazed at all the afghans but especially the large squares one and the one which I can only describe as the irregular shapes one - but they are all great - congratulations God Bless Gwen
