Melinda would like some pointers to patterns for a baby sweater or cardigan that is suitable for a beginner knitter. I'm sure we can provide some great links for her.
I'll start the ball rolling with this very simple garter stitch cardigan:
I am currently working the Lion Pattern and love it. I like the all one piece idea.
I saw this sweater and thought it might be good for a beginner.
