Question: 6x6s and Threads

I'm new to RCTY and am wondering what these exchanges are about.

TIA

Hi Helen! Nora usually posts the FAQ's for the 6 X 6 square exchange, and Norma has FAQ's for the thread exchange. If you do a bit of searching, I'm sure they were posted early this month, or late May. Otherwise, I"m SURE either of them will re-post them for you. HTH, Noreen

Hi Helen,

By now you should have the FAQ's for the 6x6 square exchange. If you don't receive it let me know and I'll send it again.

Yes, I've received both FAQs. Thank you very much. The 6x6 sounds interesting. I may participate once we've settled in our new locale this fall. And by that time my knitting may be a bit more proficient, so I wouldn't be ashamed to share it with the general public.

Helen, I neglected to welcome you aboard rcty! Yes, I forwarded your post to Nora, who in turn forwarded it to Norma, so I knew you'd get both FAQ's. Please do not concern yourself with proficiency! The 6 X 6 participants are of EVERY skill level ((!!)) :D.. and that's what makes the exchange SO diverse and interesting! Hugs, Noreen

Hi Helen. Don't be embarrassed to share your knitting squares. Everyone starts off a little rough at first, but the more you practise the better you get at it. :o)

By the way... I'll be joining the 6x6 squares exchange (likely in the fall too) once we get some rough times behind us. In the meanwhile, *when* the weather isn't too hot for yarnwork (I hate working with yarn when it's too hot), I will be making up a few square to have them ready for when I do join. :o)
