I will get the throw back in two weeks. I've been meaning to set up one of those picture albums on the web, so maybe that would be a good time to do it and include a pic of the throw.
I got the pattern and yarn from my inlaws a few years ago at Christmas. It was in Patternworks catalog. It is made of Manos del Uruguay yarn and consists of knitted rectangles of various colors in the center with black rectangles on each side and magenta squares on the corners. Then it has a reverse crochet edging in black.
