regarding a PERFECT knitting bag???

INHO, there's NoSuchThing. Really! Every knitter/crocheter has his/her OWN requirements/needs, and the only bag that will suit oneself is to design if FOR oneself. 'nuff said. Noreen

I'm with you on this one. For me, a lot of times the "perfect" knitting bag ends up being whatever I grab that will hold whatever I'm taking. I already have my circulars and DPs in separate holders made specially for circs and DPs. I keep my gadgets and tools in a plastic zipper case. Throw the tool case into a bag - one of my heavy fabric shopping bags works in a pinch if my other "knitting" bags are busy with other things (I keep the WIPs I do at home in these, for the most part) - along with whatever WIP I'm gonna bring, and I'm set. Having pockets and pouches for tools would just confuse me.

I do have one of Knit Picks' KIP bags that is nice when I'm going out somewhere and want to have a nicer-looking bag.

Hi, Kim! I've been THINKING about one of the KP bags, but haven't yet parted with the bux! (grin)

The Jordaina paige bags are awesome, but, woefully beyond my pocketbook! I LOVE what YOU are doing with leftover upholstery, we knitters/crocheters are such smart creatures! :D Noreen

Thanks, Noreen. I managed to get the bag almost completed today, thanks to my husband taking charge of Mr Adventure (our 2 1/2 year old mischief-maker) :-D I'll post a picture of it when I'm done. I think it's turning out rather well!
