Hi! I am relatively new to the spinning world with just a year and a half on a drop spindle and not quite a year in front of a wheel. The area I live in is spinner-poor, so I am constantly trying to conect with people who have the same intrests as I do. I have found that wool isnt a hobby, its a passion. I have yet to meet a spinner who 'likes' wool. I suppose all spinners have gone thru this; you have a hard time relating to someone who isn't passinate about wool, how passinate you are about it without coming off as some sort of fruitcake :) I have several sheep of my own, and I often buy roving and combed top from eBay when I see something I dont think I can live without. My sheep are corriedale, merino/corrie cross, dorset, a few registered tunis, and a couple of suffolk crosses that my daughter uses for 4-H. She recently bought a pure bred suffolk ewe for breeding club lambs. We had 11 babies this year that are going to need new homes! When I jump in, I jump in with both feet! Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, say "Hi!" ~~Becky

99% of my spinning is done with wool, or wool blends.+++++++++++++
