Hello Becky, great to meet you, and welcome to the group. You sure do have your hands full with so many animals. I take it that you live a rural life. Where are you located.
I have been spinning for a while, and indeed love wool. It is great to put your hands in a good quality fleece, take out a lock and gently pull it into an instant roving, twisting it at the same time. I think that that is just a automatic gesture. Love many other fibers as well, alpaca, silk and many of the bask fibers. Right now I am spinning Alpaca and also got an Alpaca fleece from a friend that we have been using for felting. Once you start with spinning, knitting, dyeing and felting follow quickly. I am a weaver as well, but that I have been doing nearly all my life.
