I read somewhere that when working with colors in knitting, you should always include a color that you don't like because you will see it in a new way. I haven't followed that advice yet, but now I am thinking about it.
And I can't believe I typed "they gray" instead of "the gray" - TWICE!

Thanks Mary!
I don't know what I will do with these, and I have ideas in my head for making more.

Thanks Hesira!

Those are lovely, BB.
The red one has "happy" colours and the purple is very subtle shading. Really lovely!

Thanks Bernadette. I'm having fun with these :)

BB

*hugs* GemWow, what neat looking tams!!! Don't think I'll be doing that for a while. lol I'm on a sock knitting buzz at the moment. lol Charmaine
Thanks!
My hat knitting buzz replaced my sock knitting buzz :)
Now that I'm working with green and yellow, I can definitely see how different colors of the same yarn knit up differently. I know there was a discussion about that a while back. It's like I have to start over dealing with tension issues.

They are very nice, BB! I see why you like to knit them; lots of variation, you see it grow, the result is splendid! AUD ;-)
Thanks Aud! They are fun. So far, they end up looking better than I expect them to as I'm knitting.
