Those hat pictures

This is to remind me to take them.

Yesterday I found both my camera and a card, it's now charged and I intend to take the pics today.

What was that about hope and springing and eternal and the human breast?

Not off topic, up at 6.30 am, mammogram (squashed) then acupuncturist (stuck), after such an early start to the day (I'm usually still in bed at

8.30 a.m.) I just want to go back to sleep!

Looking forward to seeing your pictures!

I wish you well with your test results! Do take care of yourself and rest up. *gentle hugs*

I dozed off on the couch in front of the TV on Monday, and later when I went to the store I goofed in something I said to the cashier. She suggested that should take a nap. *grin* I said "I *had* a nap, and look what it did to me!" LOL I'm obviously one of those people who do better (mentally anyway) on less sleep. ;o)

Oh, well, thanks, but I'm a nine year survivor, it was a routine mammo. And I saw the pictures and they looked good - as well as showing an interesting dark wedge where I had a lumpectomy. I'll elect to continue having them annually for the rest of my life, an early one contributed to the saving of it :-) I recommend it to everyone!

And since my husband had a radical prostatectomy last year I recommend every middle aged (and older) man to have a PSA test!

I need a lot!

I'll have the hugs anyway and give them back :-)

I never had breast cancer, and I was lucky enough to never need chemo or radiation treatments, but I am also a cancer survivor. It's been 16 yeasr (Aug 10th) since I had to have a total hysterectomy due to cervical cancer (my son was 10 then, and I had hoped to have another child at some pont, but better to save my life). Thankfully the doctor got it all and continued checking on me carefully for the next five years, to be sure it was totally gone.

Very good idea! My Mom cared for a couple of men who had prostrate cancer. Unfortunately for them it was discovered too late, so she tended to them in their final weeks. :o/

Ah, I do have my days where I am barely able to function at all due to lack of enough sleep... but on occasion, if I nap too deeply, it feels like I have been drugged and it affects my thinking. No comments about my thinking (or lack thereof) from the peanut gallery who have known me on here for years, thank you very much! LOL

Everyone can use hugs! Thank you! :o)

Hurrah!

Indeed.

...

I rarely nap but I have the same feeling if I do. I used to nap in the afternoon when the children were at school but it didn't really do me much good.

On the other hand, I must have needed it - I'd be up most nights until 3 am ...

Now - where's that camera?
