I recently bought this book/DVD combo: Bead Knitted Bags by Prett, Julia S.
I now know why I was knitting twisted--it is because I had been bead knitting, where every stitch is twisted to hold the bead, and I just got in the habit. It really helps to have videos/DVDs to be able to look at what you are doing the "wrong" way.
The projects in the book are gorgeous!
