What kind of knitter are you?

I don't know if this quiz already passed here, but anyway:

Hi Els,

After you checked the last question, there was a submit button and that takes you to your results. I'm a knitting adverturer. Thanks Anna Maria for posting it, I hadn't seen this one.

Hugs,

> I'am a beginner, not a surprise to me LOL I am a Knitting Guru; I am impressed! "You appear to be a Knitting Guru. You love knitting and do it all the time. While finishing a piece is the plan, you still love the process, and can't imagine a day going by without giving some time to your yarn. Packing for vacation involves leaving ample space for the stash and supplies. It can be hard to tell where the yarn ends and you begin."

I took this ages ago, but wanted to see if I'm STILL a knitting goddess. (I AM, lol!) You appear to be a Knitting Goddess. You are constantly giving and are unconcerned with reward, you simply want others to love knitting as much as you do. If someone wants to knit miles of novelty yarns, you are there for them. If someone wants to learn short row shaping, you can help. There are no taboos in knitting, only opportunities to grow. Everyone should have friend like you around if they want to learn to knit, and there's a good chance that your passion has rubbed off on a few others.

I'm a Knitting Adventurer...but I guess I knew that years ago when I started knitting with non-yarn materials: pantyhose, wire, and embroidery thread.

I suppose this is a good thread to de-lurk. Hi everyone.

I came out as a knitting adventurer, too, which wasn't a surprise since my most recent project was a bag knitted from old carrier bags which I cut into strips.

I'm not a terribly experienced knitter but I am an experienced crafter and I prefer to dive in and learn as I go along making a real project, rather than knit endless garter stitch scarves or whatever.

Hi Carolyn,

Welcome as I don't remember seeing your name before, glad I'm not the only kitting adventurer.

I am a Knitting Purist which definitely didn't come as a surprise. I have been accused of being a food snob too many times to be insulted by it anymore! lol!

Hi, and welcome to the group! I was a godess, but I would say that an Adventurer would be more like what I "THINK" I am!

I am a yarn snob. I simply will not knit with acrylic. I grew up on a farm and we did not have acrylic sheep so never learned to knit with it. I only knit on wool; once or twice with cotton. /barbara

Even after perhaps 25 years I still drop stitches like crazy. I gave it up for a while then offered to help someone learn to knit on sunday. Last night I thought I'd practise a bit first, tried to do a swatch of knit and purl stitches, starting with 5 loops on the needle. After 5 rows I had 2 loops left on the needle... I seem to have visited the Twilight Zone ;-/
