From me later in the week, don't worry too much.... it's just isabella visiting LOL

Seriously.... we're watching the news... I imagine Dianne is as well down on the Beach. I'm likely heading westward on Wednesday some time if things follow as they are predicted to be. I want to be high and dry, not soggy and low like i am at home here.

Think lots of good htoughts for those of us here on the Atlantic coast.... "It's going to be a bumpy week."Not sure who else is on the east coast, but will be saying prayers in general for all of us.

I am with you Susan! Here in NC I am doing all the things - you know, got D batteries, water, non-perishable food items, flashlights etc. We don't have a generator, I don't know why because with Hurricane Fran we were without power for five days...and the ice storm four days! It looks right now like the eye will go through your area so you are lucky you have somewhere to go! Hopefully it will miss both of us :) (I guess that would mean it will hit New Jersey or CT. though where my Mom is!) I sure will never forget the eye going through us with Fran. Good luck and hopefully none of us will lose power!

Lori K. in NC (Raleigh)

Should miss us here in GA but we will surely keep all of you in our prayers for safety throughout!

Take care Susan! Let us know how things are when you can!

Well, you guys stay high and dry and keep us posted.

Good luck guys! I'll be praying for you.

Susan;

We are definitely getting ready for this...Hubby and I have been through hurricanes at home in Hawaii, but never where the water table is a mere 12" above sea level! I am totally expecting flooding here in the heart of VB! Figure I will be sitting ON the table scrapping through it!

Be careful driving and I will be thinking of you, and of all of us in Ms. Isabel's way!!!

Take care, Dianne in Virginia Beach

Personally I am hoping that she turns and goes out to sea!! I have freinds that live in the Outer Banks, in Maryland and in Virginia. I remember when Gloria hit Connecticut!! I don't want to see that again. I'll take a deep breath and just stick my tongue out at Isabella!! LOL

Jennifer Enfield, CT ~~ Friends love the person you were and the one you've become ~~ Take out the "junkfree" to e-mail me privately

We are looking to see what Isabella is going to do, also. We are 3 miles from the ocean, but 1/2 block from the bay. We are on a hill. From the bay up to the main street is a fairly steep hill so we have never had flooding. It's the wind we want to avoid. I hope she blows out to sea or looses her velocity. Peggy

Lori K, where in CT is your Mom? I am near the airport.

Looks like it is gonna be a scary one. Hugs, Neets, Memere Neets, Anita Connecticut, USA
