And the US is everyone on the board from the best to the day one wrap a paperclip into a ring novice. Our pride is what WE do! I'm still a novice even after sevral years. Got my socks blown off by a guy who has bee working woth wire and art clay for 4 months. Toot your horn sure but keep the head so it fits thru the door.

Hey Jim... I have been wire wrapping and claying for four years... not four months. My site is my full time job. It is a luxury that I have work hard for. What do you want to know? Everyone gets upset because I sell the techniques I use. I will remind everyone that they are created for the visual learner. Sure... you can see it on paper and with words. It's a fact that most people are visual learners. Anyway... I usually try to play nice but some people like to kick others under the table.

You're the only one here kicking people 'under the table'

I asked a direct question in public, and got no answer. I asked it again and got Frank Burn'd.

Now go and play nice, you need a few lessons.

Hey, Annie.

Thanks for the hello. I'm glad to be back amongst friends, I didn't realize how much I missed the people here, but I just couldn't get the energy to post a lot.

Thanks for the lovely compliment on Mike's work. The mag is 'Beads and Beyond' and he was thrilled to bits to have such a great feature.

Every time he goes to the studio I think about how much he's done and how far he's come from the days when I was here getting so much help from so many wonderful people about starting him out in lampwork. Who knew, eh? I really cannot say thank you enough to everyone who supported him with their advice, comments and purchases. We're still hanging in, and hoping to get a conclusion to his retirement shortly, which would really put the icing on the cake for us.

Oh, and one last big thing, Mike's now been approached by several museums and archaeological resource groups to create reproductions of various historic beads in their collections. He's really excited about it, the chance to examine Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Viking beads firsthand and then re-make them is looking like becoming a big part of his daily work. Plus, I get to go along and see the beads too. My cunning plan is carefully falling into place. *evil smile*

Cheers, everyone.

I promise to be more active here as much as I can.
