:-) In American English, focused is acceptable (and more common than focussed, though that spelling is also acceptable).

Sorry--I meant acceptable in American English. I wasn't making any comment about what is or isn't acceptable anywhere else. Both forms are accepted spelling in American English, though "focused" is significantly more common. I intended no condescension, only to suggest it might not be entirely fair to accuse an American of misspelling a word that is correctly spelled (or must I say "spelt?") according to American English dictionaries. If your comment was intended to be humorous, sorry I didn't catch on to that.
