DMC to Anchor Conversion of New Colors

Richard, I was able to find all the conversions you needed. You may consider buying a Anchor color card since you could match the floss you have to the colors in the card. I have the DMC color card and use it for flosses from old Bucilla and Dimensions kits.

168 = Anchor 398 169 = Anchor 849 779 = Anchor 380 3857 = Anchor 936 3864 = Anchor 376 3866 = Anchor 926

According to my conversion list DMC 168 converts to Anchor 274, DMC 169 = Anchor 849, DMC 779 = Anchor 380, DMC 3857 = Anchor 936, DMC 3858 = Anchor 1007, DMC 3859 = Anchor 914, DMC 3860 = Anchor 379, DMC 3861 = Anchor 378,DMC 3862 = Anchor 358, DMC 3863 = Anchor 379, DMC 3864 = Anchor 376. Lastly DMC 3866 = Anchor 926.

They do mention that some of the Anchor colours have been used more than once, hence the one duplication. Hope I've been of some help.

I guess I wasn't too clear, where there is no match for the color I am using the DMC. Most conversion charts give the "nearest" color match when there is no exact match. So if 2 DMC colors give the same Anchor color, one of them (or both?) is not an exact match. But after spending hours and hours and hours on Christmas Wreath by Mystic Stitch I wish I had been able to convert the 60 or so colors to

25 or 30. I only have a very small part stitched as most are single stitches. Anyone stitch this piece? I am missing a symbol from the floss chart, he small letter "v" is on the pattern but not on the symbol chart. Its at the bottom of the page so I guess it got cut off at the printer. Richard g
