Trust me. It wasn't easy. Shipping a Hug to an island takes some serious comflagggeration. Didn't Dare put a value on it. Don't want to attract attention. Don't Dare accept free insurance of $ 100. I valued Jeanne's Hug at $5 and called it a blanket. Customs and Delivered Duty and assorted crap was the Ultimate Challenge. You'd think we were sending Jeanne seeds for her very own hydrocodone factory instead of just our love. When I opened the package from Louise who did the quilting for Jeanne's Hug, I was overpowered by the love from so many; including those lurkers who hug with us but never speak here. Overpowered indeed. Wrap in our best wishes, good thoughts, constant prayers and love, dear Jeanne. We hold you close . . . and now you can feel it for sure. Polly

We're so glad it arrived safely and is doing its job. All Hugs are beautiful, and this one is no exception - you've always told us how wonderfully greens go together, but I couldn't quite imagine it until I saw it for myself (and now you know why I was so interested in noticing all the greens in nature while DH and I were on a drive!).

I'll post pictures on Webshots (sorry everyone, I still haven't moved my account or decided for sure what to do with it) and will post here when they're up.

No. I think Karen did the arranging; didn't she turn those blocks into a symphony? I only did the finishing and smuggling. . . er, um...'exporting'. Polly

Jeanne,

We KNOW you'd rather have Tim, and never have a reason to have a hug quilt. I wish we could delete the need for any of us to ever have hug quilt. If you need to cry it on your hug quilt, go ahead. Green is good for that too.

And you're right, the greens do go together beautifully. :-)

Hugging you as best we can, Michelle in Nevada
