Local Quilt Show

We had our local quilt show in Pittsburg, Kansas last weekend and it was a fantastic show. My friend Mary has a slide show on her blog. I've included her address at the bottom of this post. You can click on the link at the right hand side of her screen to go to the slide show. Or scroll down and she talks about the quilts. Mary quilted 2 of my entries, my doll dress quilt and my petite basket quilt. She's a very talented and prolific quilter.

I won a blue and a red ribbon on my two miniature quilts. Blue on my 9" Texas Star and red on my Japanese Circles.

We had 189 beautiful quilts. A Baltimore Album that is just gorgeous. If I EVER make a full size quilt, it will be a BA. I've decided. There was even a Dear Jane quilt. First time ever for that, I think.

Anyway, enjoy! Mary got permission from every entrant except one. People like seeing their quilts online.

Many beautiful quilts, many talented quilters. Thank you for sharing.

Well done on your prizes, a worthy winner amongst a high standard class.
