Uber Cool Nerd King......I'm so embarrassed. Here I thought I'd spent 40 years successfully overcoming my stint in higher education. *sigh*

Me too! What they didn't ask is "Have you ever named a child after a programming language?" - I'm going to let everyone think the fact I have a child called Ada is a coincidence!

Kinda Dorky Technology Geek.......oh dear, seems I know more about sci-fi and computers than science and history. That'll teach me to download every Doctor Who, Stargate, Eureka, Torchwood, and Atlantis episodes.....not to mention others. In my defence I do read a lot.....even if it is non-fiction sci-fi, fantasy and murder/mystery, rather like Peter Robinson at the moment, have only 2 more of his books to read.

I'm adding to my "nerd quotient" here. Tell people she was named after The Countess of Lovelace, Augusta Ada Byron King. If they perk up you can award them a big gold nerd star. She was the only legitimate child of Lord Byron and credited with writing the first computer program by developing mathematical analysis calculations of Babbage's 'analytical machine', hence the name of the program, ADA, contracted to be developed for the Department of Defense in 1977........and now back to Sunday's afternoon regularly scheduled surfing of quilting/sewing/fabric links and lustful perusal of 'Featherweight p*rn'.

So am I
