Hee, hee, hee! Some quilty activity has been seen around my house. Ahem..... in fact it's kind of all OVER the house. We'll just have to live with that. This little mama is not using her limited strength to vacuum. Oh no. But I did think it might be fun to use it to play with my scraps. I actually dumped them out a couple weeks ago when I thought I was getting well back then. (more on getting well later) And there they sat covering the top of my cutting table all this time. Yesterday I started ironing some of them and sorting by color. Harder than I thought, with my strength, but fun indeed. Hence the threads that have migrated all over the house. Iron awhile, go rest awhile somewhere, iron awhile, etc. This could take awhile. Cuz what I have heard is actually true. When you stir a pile of scraps, it grows and grows.
As for getting well. Several facts have presented themselves to make me believe I did not ever have the stomach flu at all, but rather, that two of my prescriptions were not playing nicely together, one of them being the new kid on the block. Aha. All things considered, the new kid is tougher on crime, so I am phasing out the one I've had for awhile (sorry ole fella). I am feeling a bit better each day, and really happy to think that this is not the flu. THIS is something I can do something about. It's going slowly but I am getting my strength back thanks to your prayers.
You guys think you can pray me to Paducah? Anyone who finds me there and hands me their name in person on a piece of paper or a card will get a nice prezzie from the Queen when I get back home. But of course you have to get me there first. (there's always a catch)
Karen, your ever-so-grateful Queen of Squishies
