online source for flannels/apple butter

Good morning all.

I'm sitting here battling something that has all the signs of a good flu so please excuse me if I'm a little thick.

Babyquiots are looming in my very near future; friends are declating pregnancies right, left and center! I want to make one of them an alphabet quilt using bright flannels: I need hot pink/fucsia, turquoise, lime green, lemon yellow and violet/lilac, on a white background. Finding the white shouldn't be a problem, it's all the other colors that elude me.

Anyone have any online site stred away that has flannels in these colors? The apple butters lok nice, but I can't seem to find a single store that has all the colors I need....

Other flannels will do; itdoes not have to be apple butter.

Thanks!

claudia

link is for their flannel solids, you should also check theirflannel-textures, since some of them er near-solids, and there is moreof a range of colours.I have only every had good service from them. Kind regards, Hanne in DK

Several of the colors that Claudia is seeking are from the Riley Collection by Alpine Fabrics. Anybody here familiar with that line? We do lots of flannel for the newborns but I've never come across Alpine before; don't know if it is good flannel. So often, too often, flannel is thin, shabby and pill-fuzzy. Polly

has every color of flannel you could imagine, most at really good prices. I don't know if they have solids in the colors you want, but I saw lots of tone on tone and the like. And I've always had the best service from fabric shack. They've really been good to me, and I've bought a lot there.

Good luck! Baby quilts are the best.

posting I looked at the flannels a bit more and found the'Dimples' line. I think most of the colors you're talking about are onthat page and they look really good. Dimples is a good line of non-flannel, don't know if it's the same. But a call to Fabric Shackshould help you out in that regard. Sunny again
