OT: Prayers appreciated

I am pretty sick and would really appreciate prayer. I believe in the power of prayer or I wouldn't ask.

It seems that after ten years of taking various anticoagulants + Plavix my poor stomache has just laid down and said it's taken all the abuse it intends to. They tell me there's no fixing it without surgery. I told them I didn't think my heart was in good enough condition for such a radical surgery, and they're telling me if I

*don't* have it I will starve to death, period. On the other side, I am tired of pain, tired of suffering and just plain tired.

I know most of you don't know me very well, but I figured out a long time ago ya'll are good people. TIA

I wish I had some medical/technical suggestions, Sherry. I do not. However, I too am astounded at the power of prayer and will faithfully hold you up. God bless you and cover you with the feathers of his wings. Just by sharing and asking you have testified that you believe too. I know my prayers are heard and answered. For those of you with other beliefs - please, our Sherry is in trouble. Let's hold hands and hearts and get this friend some healing. Polly

Oh, Sherry, of course I'll include you in my prayers. I wish I had words of wisdom concerning the decisions you're going to have to make and could take that worry away from you, but since I don't, I'll pray for healing and strength for you and guidance for your doctors.

I hope you will seek a second opinion (if you have time) before surgery. I'm assuming you trust your doctors and are being treated by surgeons familiar with the kind of surgery you need.
