OT- prayer request

Sep 16, 2006 11 Replies

hey, guys. Just got a call from Mom. Grandpa passed out this afternoon at

2:30. She called the ambulance, and they took him to the hospital. Doc said his heart is BAD, real bad. it is stopping every 2-5 seconds for just as long. He needs a defibrulator/pacemaker. Can you all add him to your prayers, as well as my Mom? It seems like I just lost grandma. I am not ready to lose him too. But, I am more worried about Autumn. She got real close to him while she was staying with tmy parents and him this past summer. She calls him her "buddy." He will be in the hospital till they decide what to do, and she and Dad are the only ones who are there. The rest of the kids don't care, and I don't want them showing up and causing problems if, God forbid, the worse happens. I am probably going to go down next week, but we need to wait and see. Thanks, Toni / Indiana

Just heard from Mom. Grandpa is in CCU. He asked what I was doing. I told them, "Watching Pink Floyd's "Pulse," and drinking Corona." He said, "Drink some Guinness for me." So, have 2, one for me and one for him, in the fridge. Going to drink them tomorrow. The Corona's have kicked my butt, LOL He also has his quilt with him, so me and his "buddy", Autumn, will be with him. Toni, crying now,

You do not need family muddle on top of him being ill. But if they fir a pace maker, that isn't a big op these days...

Praying for a good outcome, here.

Prayers and hugs for you, your Grandpa and the rest of the family. Hope he recovers quickly.

Prayers and good thoughts on the way from Tucson, along with a few hugs for everyone concerned.

(((((Toni))))) Hugs and prayers enroute for both you and your family - and especially your Grandpa. ME-Judy
