Found out from my son in Arkansas that my mom (who lives 30 minutes from me) is in the hospital. I wasn't going to call but desided I would. Found out she has strep phnemoia. Does ANYONE know what this is. I have never heard of it. Looked it up on the internet and know even less.

I never heard of anything like that before. Maybe they mean strep throat and pneumonia? In any case, we sure will be praying for her!

Google "streptococcal pneumonia" instead.
Not uncommon, mostly curable, but will always leave you exhausted for months afterwards.
