I would ask that you add my son and his friends from the marching band to your prayers this evening...I was not there and have only heard second hand about this, his bus will be home around 1:30 AM EST... my son is at a marching band competition this evening, and the cart that is used to transport the pit (alternate percussion) equipment and the children that use those instruments overturned on the way to the field to perform...all of the instruments were ruined and at least 2 girls were pinned under the cart. They borrowed instruments from Jack State University in Alabama (where the competition was being held) and managed to perform their show although they were visibly shaken and crying...as far as I know Jeremy is not physically injured, but I am trying to wait patiently until I have him in my arms and I know that he is safe. I know he rides the cart with the tympani, and hate to think of those three large drums on top of him...this is turning out to be a long night...thanks in advance, Arleen in GA

I have only now seen your post about prayers but I definitely pray that no one was seriously injured. Not sure what kind of cart they were using (we don't use a card for our pit instruments) or what caused it to overturn...so sorry for the loss of instruments but that would be far better than personal injuries. Hope by now all is well........... Susan Susan

I was glad to read in a later thread that your son was OK and taking it in stride, he was in my thoughts. I read about it on my way out the door, and didn't have time to post at the time.
