I know there are a bunch of praying people here, and I hope y'all don't mind if I put in a request--
My brother Buddy has been admitted to the hospital here with a pulmonary embolism (they originally thought it was pneumonia and they've been treating him with antibiotics)--but yesterday he was having so much pain and trouble breathing they admitted him and ran a bunch of tests. This morning they did a cat scan and discovered the p.e. and began treating him for that--he's on oxygen now in the ICU for better observation, and also on heparin (blood thinners)--my SIL Cathy and nephew Brandon are having a difficult time with all of this, since my brother rarely if ever gets sick. :*(
They've taken another more detailed cat scan this evening and the results are supposed to be back in about half an hour here.
If y'all could say a prayer for Buddy and Cathy, or think good thoughts or whatever, we would sure appreciate it!
I'll update when I hear any more news.
