Emergency Prayer Request

Lyn5 and Musicmaker when to the big show at Rosemont like they do every year. She just called us and said that Lyn is 2 hours late in meeting her, and she can't find her anywhere. She's scared and worried to death. Please pray. I have no more information that this. We are all very worried.

Prayers on wing....

Is there any way to contact her family? Was she driving a long distance? There must be some way to try to backtrack and find where she was known to be...

I hope she is located safe and sound!!

Lost Quilter Found! I still don't know how they lost each other, or how they found each other, but Cindy called and said they are together. Oh my. WHAT a scare!

Does Lyn have a cellphone? Husband? Family who can be called? It's always disconcerting to have someone be so very late for a meet-up. Here's a prayer that by the time I'm posting this, Lyn will have arrived and all will be well.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS - I did gain peace immediately after praying with Karen's DH on the phone last night. Here's what happened. Lyn always entered the quilt show via the convention center entrance, while I always entered by way of the hotel side entrance. When we planned to meet at the entrance at 5.... well you've guessed it by now. Neither of us stayed put - we kept searching where the other had just been only a minute ago. Karen's DH called and suggested I contact security. I couldn't remember what she was wearing (after all, I hadn't seen her for more than 30 minutes yesterday morning before we went our separate ways) so I was going to tell them that a short, skinny lady with glasses, gold colored short short hair and a limp was missing. (: As I was walking towards the security officer, I saw that very person leaving the building and boy, did I yell. LYN! Sure enuff, it was her. we finally got out of that wonderful, chaotic festival at about 7:30 and arrived in Charleston at

10:30ish, still talking, laughing, and celebrating the absolute fun we experienced in all the classes and shopping. God was totally with us, and watching over us, and my fears were relieved. Now, how 'bout asking Lyn why it didn't even occur to her to TURN HER CELL PHONE ON!!!!!

I waved as I drove by Chicago! It wasn't as scary as it was at noon on Tuesday at noon. Someday I'm going to get to stop. I am on my way home from Indiana.
