Still sewing, but some good wishes would be appreciated...

Still not getting to the quilting! Costumes stacking in holding patterns...

Anyway, Alan goes in tomorrow for day surgery: carpal tunnel surgery. Ugh. I feel for him! Wrist will be out of action for a while: gonna make grocery shopping a load of fun - not! We may just have to starve! ;) Not allowed to drive for about a month, and I don't. GMNT not old enough yet...

Anyway, while this really isn't all that serious, some good wishes winging Alan's way would give him a lift, I'm sure.

Just amke sure they have enough airspace not have collisions ;-)

Are you close enough to Tesco/Sainsbury/Waitrose to get the groceries delivered? I know they charge a delivery fee, but it's better than starving, especially with a GMNT to feed. Either that or you'll have to send Sugar Puff & Cornflake out bunny hunting.

Hope all goes well and the results are as needed.

I have a friend lined up to hel with the shopping. Planning meals he can eat one-handed will be fun... I can see mince in various forms looming!

Thanks for the good wishes - much appreciated.

Prayers for Alan's quick and thorough recovery on the way from Indiana. And for you and the GMNT in the meanwhile!

Kate, my DH had CT surgery two weeks ago. It went *very* well, with amazing, immediate results. I hope your Alan's is the same.

Thinking the good thoughts here. Hope one handedness doesn't make him too cranky.

Stone soup and meals out of tins only make them appreciate you more.

I remember my brothers at that age. MSM could not keep a loaf of bread or a a gallon of milk in the house. They would disappear as fast as she could get them home from the store.

Well, if you want to teach him some Swedish, you can say "krya p=E5 dig!" (pronounced "kree-ya po day" if you speak Swedish with a South Carolina accent like I do!)
