Greetings, my wife and I are considering selling our antique New
Williams sewing machine. It has been in my wifes family for years and is
in good condition. I am wondering what kind of value it might have.
Photo's can be seen
here....http://s805.photobucket.com/albums/yy332/cjfitter /

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.
Thanks, cj

Did not rate an entry into either of Carter Bays books, The Encyclopedia of
early American sewing machine. Is missing the slide plates at least from the
photo I would say minimal at best.
However one mans junk is another's treasure so on things like that what ever
the traffic will bare.

Antique sewing machines are not generally items that appreciate in value
as an investment.  Check Ebay purchase prices of machines (e.g.,
completed auctions that don't appear to be bought by shill buyers),
check www.treadleon.net for the Flea Market to see what people who love
antique treadle machiens are selling them for, and go from there.
