LOL! Bless you, anyway! I have stacks of books all over the house, but don't always find myself in the mood for what's available, and go off in search of something else, thus adding to the piles. I usually have one or two that I'm reading, unless I find myself unable to go on, and throw the book against the wall. Most I donate or trade, but sometimes I get one so bad I don't want anyone to be subjected to it. Not my husband's
- his held my attention. But I'm a harsh critic of fiction. ;-)
It's hard for me to read really dark novels, and that's how your DH's books seem to me. I have to be really upbeat and the day must be sunny, events which don't always coincide here. :-(
I did finally toss the B. Franklin biography I've been struggling with for months.

Not so dark, really. You've never read Cormac McCarthy, have you? Don't!!!
I think it may be criminal that anyone would write a dull book about Ben Franklin. He was never dull himself, and I think that we would have liked him a good bit had we known him. But there are people who are so dull themselves that anything they write is soporific.
No.
Ok, ;-}
I think I was unfortunate in my choice of author, I'll look for another BF bio,
