Lisa, if you have no luck with any of the other suggestions offered, you could try Roger Smith at the Statewide Sewing Centre in Sydney Rd Coburg in Melbourne. 03 93541936. He's been servicing sewing machines for a long time and has been very helpful with parts for some of my older machines.

i tell yuu what i would do , Look on the Net for the manufacturer and email [ or post snail ] him a letter and ask if he has any Agency Close to to you ,,, and if so maybe they will be able to solve it for you !!!! Also Look in your Phone book , there are always wonderful Mechanical geniuses who can repair many things !!!! BEST OF LUCK mirjam

Although when looking up the manufacture dates to be accurate, I did find a place in Australia that sells pats to vintage machines and has them for $55:

You could try Sew Simple in Altree Court, Woden, Canberra. They are the only ones I'd trust in Canberra now.

I've used these people in the past for one of my a bobbin case for one of my old Singers and they provided a great postal service. It's been a while since I used them though, so you should check the address before posting anything off to them.

Just did a quick google and they get a lot of hits so they should still be around and active.
