Yes, I feel like that some days too!

What have you been weaving and is it on a loom?

Lately I've finished a few things and then started others. Last week was spent sewing curtains for the sitting room. A neighbour goes to all the auction sales and gets some good bargains at times. She brought me some very heavy cotton brocade material in a dark red with a flower and leaf design in cream and beige. It is lovely quality material and there is enough left to make cushions to match. I'm very pleased with them.

Today I managed to complete another 8 rows on the new moebius.

LOLOL Actually, I am in Labrador, caring for the sick. Keith and Kandace are both ill - respiratory infections, manifesting themselves differently in each one. Kandace has croup, and Keith has an infection, which is not nice. I am healthy, but tired.

Hi Mirjam

I check in here every couple of days or so, but the last time I looked, there weren't many posts. It looks like you've had a few replies, so I guess we're still here.

I'm working on two shawls right now, so here are a couple of links to see them:

I'm winding yarn. It was a huge ball at a thrift shop and I thought someone had wound up at least two skeins. If I'd looked more closely I might have noticed that it is recycled from something, probably a sweater. It's nice wool but I'm finding a lot of breaks in it as I reskein it. *sigh* but it was very inexpensive!

Been sick lately. First flu, then a small break where I had jury duty, and now I'm sick again with bronchitis. Still trying to push things, but I have to stop and rest or I'll never get better.

I would up a ball like that recently, though the breaks were because my sister's dog got into it! I just put in Russian joins as I went along so that when I get around to working it I won't have to pause.

Glad to hear you got a good deal though. I never seem to luck out on those!
