Does anyone have information on Toika weaving looms from Finland. I have done a search on the internet for a friend, who got a Toika loom in bits and pieces. So far we have found dealers in the States, but no manufacturer in Finland. I work with toika temples when weaving, but have no information on their different looms at all.
We would love to get our hands on a picture of a small loom on a stand or just a very small floor loom. We have no idea how to put this loom together. I do think that it may be a countermarch loom, since that is the only type that is advertised by all the dealers. We did get a little booklet about Toika products, but no pictures at all. It is going to be a real puzzle to put this loom together. It is possible that there are pieces missing. The family that got rid of this loom in a box, wanted to burn it......eeeek, no way we hope.
