Does anyone have this book please?

I wonder if anyone has the book: Quilt Designs from Decorative Floor Tiles by Christine Porter?

If so, I would be most grateful if they could e-mail me (nothing sinister!). I just need a small bit of help. My address above is correct.

Thanks very much I.A.

What a disappointment, Patti. I can't even remember when I've had an occasion to do something sinister. There are several copies of the book at my favorite used book store but I'm thinking that's not what you're wanting. I just imagine you need one of us to share some thoughts about something in the book. I wish I could help. Polly

Oh dear - I've just taken it back to the library! The Library records say it is still 'On Shelf' so I will have a look tomorrow when I go to collect the book on Watercolour Quilts I have waiting for me there.

I have the book and sent you an email. Let me know if you didn't get it.

I've taken this book out from my local library. Did you check there?

I don't, but I've seen the person doing it on the TV. I've also got a very similar book based on italian mosaics. Is the question very specific to the book? or just the techniques or fabrics used for that kind of thing?

Thanks Anne; but, yes, the question is very specific to Christine's book. If you have the Norah McMeeking book, I have it, too. Isn't it wonderful! . In message , Anne Rogers writes

Thanks very much, Sally; but Jeri has the book. So, if it is not too late to catch you before you go to the library, I can save you a bit of weight!

Well, I know my library doesn't have it! I could order it, but my question is just a quick one, but vital to me at the moment! Looks like Jeri will be able to sort me out. Good suggestion, though. Thank you. I do tend to forget about book ordering. . In message , niasha writes

I've had a positive reply from Jeri. I am sure she will be able to answer my question - when she wakes up. Thanks everyone . I knew I could rely on you all. It's a great feeling. . In message , Patti writes

Are you going to put the rest of us out of our misery and let us in on the secret!

Oh, sure! I just didn't want to clog up the NG with a personal question. I was about to write an article on one of the quilts I have worked out (still drawn only), based on one of the beautiful tiled floors in Bristol Cathedral. I just needed to know, from the index, whether Christine has included one on the same piece of floor - as she lives in Bristol! I did contact her, but I hadn't had a reply. . Ooh! Where may we read the article? Roberta in D, still waiting for your book to appear!

Well, it will be in Patchwork & Quilting - if it comes to fruition! but the chances are that Christine has it in her current book or has plans for it. If I don't do that one, it will have to be a miniature!!

Book? - don't ask! But, thank you for your patience.

You would hardly believe the 'reasons for delay' that have been quoted to me. I exploded a couple of weeks ago - truly exploded. I'm back to 'waiting' again - but I have no patience left with any of 'them', so heaven help the first one to make another bum move >gg< . In message , Roberta Zollner writes
