A term I think we should adopt (bead-related)

Apr 27, 2004 34 Replies

I have a good friend who stitches, and recently she mentioned to me an acronym used by the people in her stitchery group: SABLE. It stands for "Stash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy" -- when you have more patterns and projects than you can possibly hope to finish in a normal lifespan.

It occurs to me that this could also apply to those of us who have more beads than we could ever possibly use up! What do you guys think?

Who said anything about "too much"? Even at SABLE, you can always buy more!

Celine

Hmmm...I might go with "STash Acquisition...". That way, I can tell DH that lotsa beads keep me STABLE.

Yup. That sounds better to me too.

You need to get a room with elastic walls. My workroom is a complete horror. I must get rid of some of the stuff in it. Shirley
