Is there another name for abacus beads? I was looking for some red/ruby ones on ebay, just so I could pay minimal shipping for one little item. I got the ones I have from Rio Grande, and I think they're 8mm, so if need be, the next time I order from them, I'll get more. I was just hoping to find some sooner.

Don't know. What is an abacus bead? (besides a bead used in an abacus).

Well, I thought they were rondells, but the Rio Catalog calls them abacus. Those flat round, glass beads.
