I am a meanie, I just made a bid with 4 mins left. I hate it when people do that to me. But I love it when there is something that I didn't want after thinking about it. I had a ten dollar bid one time and I went back to check the shipping cost and it was $300.00. I spit coffee on my computer screen. I sent E-mail telling the guy that I want out of my bid and he sends me a reply telling me not to worry because I can combine all my bids together at the same cost. Lol I took myself out of that auction.

Heeheehee, Scott--sometimes (most of the time) that is the only way to get what you really want on eBay. Thanks for bidding!

What the heck did you bid $10 on that had a $300 shipping charge??

OMGosh. I'm here in Glasgow, doing my job, just finally able to get connected, and I won the woven pod necklace...and at an obscene bid. See here:

My niece is out of her orange phase, and into purple, and she loved this! Candace, do you by any chance know who made this?

I wish to god I did, because it's very much in the style of my own bead weaving! (I wanna pick the brain of the artisan, lol!) All I got with it was a note describing what it was, and that it was created by an eBay artisan. You won an awesome piece of jewelry. I've snuck it out of it's box many time this week just to stare at it:) Thank you so much for bidding, and congrats on winning, Lisa!

Candace, there is something very odd going on with some of your pictures... they have all been very good, but now there are a couple... I noticed the potato pearls and that pretty lampwork focal... that are very pixellated. I just wanted to let you know in case it's a problem you were unaware of!

Thank you, Kalera. I wasn't aware of that, so I'm glad you let me know. That's part of the reason for my delay with the auctions--my vision was so blurry I couldn't get decent pics--I thought it was better enough yesterday to do them. I'm sorry about that, folks!

Also Candace, and this is NOT a pick on Candace thing...you are doing what many of us wish we could make the time to do in managing these auctions, the big pics are REALLY big!!! Over here, I'm on dialup at 56K and it takes quite some time to download the pics.

Thanks again...looking forward to hearing that my necklace has arrived at home!!!

Hope you're feeling better.

I had wondered about that--the pics taking time to show up. I'll re-size them next time. Your necklace was mailed out Monday at lunchtime:)

I ask the neighborr who's picking up my mail everyday "if it's there yet!! I won't be coming home for a break until next Wednesday...so I 'll get to see all of my cool stuff. And my wire order arrived yesterday she told me...I've been waiting forever for that. I will never participate in a group buy again.

I don't envy you the waiting game!
