I will be sending out the RCTQ Directory Vol. 15 during the course of this afternoon and tomorrow morning. Note to Web TV users: I am sending all 3 formats, please choose which one works best for your circumstances. There are only 2 of you, so if worse comes to worse and none of them work - let me know. I still have one final trick up my sleeve on how to get it to you!
I suspect I'm in the "tomorrow morning" group, but I wanted to thank you in advance for all of your hard work in putting this together for us again! :D
One thing that struck me when I checked my entry was the confusion over 'City' and 'Postal Town'.
In the US you all live in Cities according to the list - ie what we would call a town seems to be classed as City. This means some of the non u.s.ers have filled in Postal Town for the place where they live, (me included) so there is no placename in the city column, and we appear homeless until you look a few coloums further on!.
Just struck me that this might confuse people addressing envelopes where they aren't sure which part of the address goes where.
Think its just another of those things where we have different languages! Here a city has to have a special charter and usually is the main place in a county and usually very big. The Queen gave a couple of places city status fairly recently - (Jubilee?). Suffolk doesn't actually have cities, our main place, Ipswich, is only a humble town, though it keeps applying and is big! Aldeburgh is a town too, but only a little one, and next time I will promote it to 'city' - and won't Ipswich be jeleous!

I received my copy of the Directory this morning. Just wanted to pop in and thank you for all your hard work. Sorry I haven't been around much (I have been reading a bit and sending good thoughts and prayers and looking at some beautiful quilts just not posting). This year hasn't started out very well -- in January my Uncle who was our next door neighbor while I was growing up passed away and then on the first of February my Hubby's Sister passed away after suffering a major stroke after surgery to remove a tumor from her pituitary gland (she was only 56 and a wonderful quilter). Then I caught the flu which lasted for a week. I am just now starting to feel like I can be up and about for a whole day. But when I received the directory, I just had to come and say a huge THANKS!!!! for all your hard work.
